i. Read Isaiah 40:1-9. Why do you think it is important for God’s people to be assured that His Word will stand forever (see verse 8)?

ii. Read Mark 13:26-31. Why does Jesus remind the disciples that His Word will never pass away?

iii. Why is it important for us to know that the Scriptures are everlasting?

f. APPLICATION: What will you do differently as a result of embracing the fact that God’s Word is eternal and will not pass away?
