Help us pray for our church following the LORD’S PRAYER based on Matthew 6:9-13.
PRAISE: “Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name…” That God through His Son Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, would be glorified and praised through our church!
PRAYER: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” That our church & our people would be known for a vibrant prayer life so that we may know the will of God and do the will of God.
PROVISION: “And give us this day, our daily bread.” For provision of Godly leadership, people, vision, & finances for His mission. And that the Lord of the Harvest would send more workers for the Harvest! (Luke 10:2)
PURITY: “And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation.” For confession of sins, forgiveness, and purity for our pastors, leaders, people, doctrine, & purpose. (Psalm 139:23-24, 1 John 1:8-9)
PROTECTION: “But deliver us from evil.” Protect us from the evil one & our own sinfulness. (James 4:7)
PURPOSE: “For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen.” To go beyond our 4 walls with God’s good news as Christ’s ambassadors. (2 Cor. 5:18-20)
PEOPLE: For all our pastors, ministry servants, teachers, and leaders to maintain unity in the body of Christ, increase in faith, hope, and love, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, & to always be ready to share God’s Good News full of truth and grace. (1 Cor. 1:10, 13:13, Gal. 5:22)
