b. KEY THOUGHT: Two amazing thoughts every believer must know: We are in Christ. Christ is in us.

c. KEY QUESTION: According to these two verses, what two amazing facts do we learn about our new lives as women who have trusted in Jesus?

d. DISCUSSION WITH REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

i. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17. What do you think is meant by “new creation”?

ii. What have you experienced as a result of all things becoming new?

iii. How do you know if this verse is true?

iv. Read Galatians 2:20. How would you restate this verse in your own words?

v. What has happened to the believer as she experiences life after trusting Christ?

vi. Do you sense that Christ is in you? How?

f. APPLICATION: How has coming to know Christ altered your perspective of life in and around you? This reality of Christ in us and us in Christ separates the Christian faith from any other religion. What will you do to more deeply realize this supernatural reality? Perhaps memorizing these two verses is the first step in embracing your new reality!
