The following “Faith Basics” booklets are free to download and distribute.  These booklets provide a simple, practical tool for those seeking to gain a more clear understanding of the essentials of the Christian faith and to know God better.  Included are such essentials as who is God, what is the Trinity, the Lord’s Prayer, the Ten Commandments, how to pray, how to use the Bible, etc… Also included is a check-list to allow the reader to track his or her progress in learning these basic skills and knowledge. Our prayer in turn is that this resource will help others to better explain God’s good news to their own corner of the world!

Printing Instructions for Booklets:

Booklets are in PDF format.  Be sure to use a heavier stock of paper that is over 24 lbs. This will prevent the double-sided printing from appearing through the paper.  Glossy paper yields the best results but is not absolutely necessary.

Instructions for printers that allow automatic double-sided printing:

  1. After selecting “Print” on your computer, under “Page Size & Handling” select the option for “Booklet”
  2. Under “Booklet Subset” select “Both sides”.
  3. Under “Orientation” be sure that “Portrait” is selected even though the booklet appears to be in a landscape setting.
  4. Under “Properties”, select “2-Sided Print”, then “Flip on Short Edge”, or for home printers select option “Automatically”.
  5. Then, hit “Print”.

Instructions for printers that do not allow automatic double-sided printing:

  1. After selecting “Print” on your computer, under “Page Size & Handling” select the option for “Booklet”
  2. Under “Booklet Subset” select “Both sides”.
  3. Under “Orientation” be sure that “Portrait” is selected even though the booklet appears to be in a landscape setting.
  4. Under “Properties”, select option “Manually”.
  5. After selecting the “Print” button, a new dialogue box will appear that will say “Print on Both Sides Instructions”.  DO NOT press continue until after the first set of pages have printed.  Once the first set of pages have printed, take the stack and then reinsert them into the printer’s paper feed tray with the printed side up.  Once paper is reinserted, then, hit the “Continue” button on the dialogue box.  This will then instruct the printer to print out the second side of the pages for the booklet.
